On Saturday, July 23rd, Hampton, NH will be spinning with excitement–literally! The 3rd annual Bike & Beers Hampton will commence with 15, 30, and 45-mile rides with all routes pointing to a refreshing pint at Smuttynose Brewing Company beyond the finish line. 

An event that benefits the Bike-Walk Alliance of NH  which supports biking conditions in the state and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the day is more than just a bike ride/walk. Participants can expect plenty of perks throughout the event, like complimentary pastries and coffee in the morning before the event begins, fueling and tire checks, raffle tickets to win a free bike and other goodies, and, of course, beers. 

The event itself welcomes all riding levels and is fully marked and GPS-assisted. You are welcome to ride solo; but for extra excitement, grab a couple of friends or family members and create a team. If you aren’t participating or want to do more than rid, you can go all-in for the charity raffle or simply stop into the brewery to catch some live music, games, and bites to eat. 

With the early bird special already in swing, be sure to buy tickets for your event quickly! Normal prices range from $90 for the 45-mile ride to $70 for the 15-mile. Tickets for after-party entry cost $35, and all tickets include a specialty pint glass, a raffle ticket, and two complimentary beers ( alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Snacks like Unique Pretzels will also be available both during the event and at the after-party event. 

New to this year’s event, professional photographers will be there to capture your cycling moments during the duration of the day, so make sure to ride on your photogenic side! You will also receive a specialized bike plate for the event so you can rock some swag after!  

Truly an all-day event, there is a little something for everyone even if you aren’t big on bikes. It’s a great day to give back, and share some brews (and friendly competition) with the cycling community.
